Taffy Pull 2018

We had a great turn out for the Potluck and Taffy Pull this year. There were about 60 in total that attended. 

The Yingst family has traditionally made taffy for this Wild Rose community event, for many years. John & Charlotte Yingst, parents of Robert & George, have taught their sons the recipe and procedures.

Taffy Pull 2018

Wild Rose Community Center of Deer Park would like to invite you to its annual Holiday Potluck and Taffy Pull.

Please join us on Sunday, December 9 for a fun afternoon for the whole family.

This is open to our entire community.  Potluck lunch begins at 1:00 pm and the Taffy Pull begins at about 2 pm. Everyone can share in the fun of pulling your own Christmas Taffy.

Annual Business Meeting 2018

We had our annual meeting on October 5, 2018. The current Board members were kept the same. A date for a work party will be announced later. We have some new members!

The Annual Meeting for Wild Rose Community Center members will always be the first Friday in October.

Potluck Dinner will begin at 6:00 pm followed by the business meeting at 7:00 pm.

Night Out Against Crime

Tonight our community participated in the National Night Out Against Crime. We had a great turn-out of Wildrose Neighbors to meet and discuss crime concerns in our area. We had representatives from SCOPE on hand to discuss what their role is in the community. Thank you to all who came and participated.

Annual Meeting

Please come to the Annual Meeting and Potluck Dinner at the Wild Rose Community Center on Friday, Oct. 4, starting at 6 pm with the Potluck dinner, followed by the Annual Meeting. Your attendance is important for input.

Come to see the improvements to the building and the parking lot. Improved handicapped access.

Renew your dues: $5 per person, per year. You may pay for as many years as you wish.
